Interesting. In your post a couple days ago, "Pricey Living," you seemed to be proud of how well you were managing your finances.
In this post, you appear less than satisfied with the disparity between your salary and your boss's perquisites.
As my father (your grandfather) said to me many a time, when I remarked about such differences in pay scale - RHIP; RHIR. That's Navy talk for Rank has its privileges; Rank has its responsibilities. One comes with the other.
So, as you progress through the "ranks," you too might enjoy some of the privileges. Beware of what you wish for, however. The responsibilities can be weighty. Some at the top of the rank long for the freedom that a lower salary afforded them.
