Till we meet again...

So yesterday was my last English lesson with my group at IURIS (real estate company). It was really sad. I've been teaching them since last winter, and I can't believe it. Time has flown by! I really enjoyed being a teacher (for adults...probably couldn't do the kids thing long term) They weren't just my students, but my friends, and I'm looking forward to hearing how their lives progress in the future. The whole thing was very rewarding...in terms of both intelligence and finances.

They completely surprised me by buying me a gift :) I had brought them "farewell candy", but this was much more exciting. I got a handcrafted mug, a cool magnet with and artistic view of Bratislava and an angel Christmas decoration. All things that pack well! Genius!

The fact that you have brought a little of your culture and knowledge to another country must feel so satisfying. And you have absorbed such a barrage experience in Central Europe. These friendships and connections may be the most inspiring you will encounter in your life.

In your few weeks left you will try to say good-bye, but don't leave without a plan for reunion. I bet all your friends would enjoy the Seaquarium in Miami.
