Case in point:
Driving or parking in the PEDESTRIAN ZONE is prohibited after 9:00 unless you have a special permit. It is even frowned upon before that unless you are a restaurant delivery truck. Even if you have that clearance we give you dirty looks if you're blocking the way. Apparently, this person thought because they have a luxury vehicle they are above the rules. Guess not! You got booted in front of EVERYONE. Money does make you exempt. It just makes it more noticeable when you get caught.
The other funny, but somewhat sad thing I saw today was a woman desperately succumbing to addiction. She had a cigarette in her hand, but jumped off the curb with a bit too much gumption because she then dropped the lit cancer-stick onto the ground. Im talking dirty, dirty street. It rained today. She proceeds to pick it up, and continue smoking it. It can be a sad, sad life.

That is a hot looking car! I would like to zip around in a cute little sporty car. But my husband said no to the '98 blue metallic Corvette that I found in the paper. only 20K and 19K miles. "Too much insurance", he said. But it was my dream car while my dad was working at GM. I will admitt that seeing old people in cool cars looks out of place. Pretty jewels and clothes look best on my young pretty daughters. So my new dream is the '57 Chevy. But by the time I am 57 we will all be driving electric cars. And Obama will be in his second term fighting some scandal. I might even be a grandma by then. So I will just enjoy my new Mazda CX7. Thank you honey buns for steering me in the right direction. The pearly silver matches my hair- well it did. Now I have changed my hair so I wouldn't look and feel so tired and drab. So, I did my part to help the econmy. Should we support the goverment bailout of the big three manufacturers and not get a car out of the deal? Don't put boots on my car , I am heading for warmer weather.
